TEACH System Account


If you have not already done so, you need to set up an account in the TEACH system.

This account will allow you to keep track of your certificates and your professional development hours. To set up an account (or log in if you already have one), go to the TEACH system Log-in Page.

Once you have an account, log in.

Scroll down to the section PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT and click on MAINTAIN YOUR PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT RECORD. You will see your personal information. Under that will be a list of the 5 years following the date that your Professional Certification was issued.

To add PD hours, click the gray box entitled REPORT HOURS.

Follow the prompts.


Be sure to LOG-OUT. This site has a lot of personal information, including your SS number.


IMPORTANT: The TEACH system says that it is the duty of the public school district to report your PD hours, but I have not found this to be true. None of my hours were reported by the DOE. So, as with anything you want done right, do it yourself.

You can find a record of many PD hours on Protraxx, but not all hours are recorded there.
